The Pac-12 Conference has named the winter Scholar-Athletes of the Year, presented by Toyo Tires®, presented to student-athletes that are standouts both academically and in their sports discipline.

Following are the 2011 Pac-12 Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Academic teams, announced today by Commissioner Larry Scott.

Arizona freshman Lawi Lalang was the individual winner at today's NCAA men's cross country championships, with a time of 28:44.1 in the 10k.

A strong Pac-12 contingent is headed to Terre Haute, Ind., to compete for the 2011 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country national championships on Monday, Nov. 21.

Among the 450 student-athletes recognized across the country, 21 men and 23 women from Pac-12 teams were named to the list.

Five additional teams have been invited to compete at the 2011 NCAA men’s and women’s cross country championships, the NCAA selection committee announced Sunday.

STANFORD and COLORADO men, and WASHINGTON, ARIZONA and COLORADO women clinch berths to the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships.

With the sweep of the Pac-12 Cross Country Championships, both Colorado squads are the highest-ranked Conference teams. A combined 10 Pac-12 teams ranked in the top 30.
